This company got started after I went online over a year ago to price "plate rentals" for my daughter's wedding. They wanted $5 per plate. I thought, "I can do better than that!" On "Vacation for the Rest of My Life" after teaching for 36 years, I went online, researched, studied, investigated and started bidding at online auctions. My daughter got married and used items I had collected. I was encouraged & helped by friends & family to go into the rental business. I am thankful every day. I look at the business as a service. We charge less as others charged too much. Being a “Special Occasion Rentables” client will save you money.
Inventory has increased to include everything used at a special event. Our attached garage, once a beautiful showroom is now part of storage for the business. That’s why I now meet clients at a local coffee shop, restaurant or quiet bar of their choice and bring photos of items with me.
Our inventory is HUGE and my prices are reasonable. Former students and friends work hard and are part of the team. New inventory is purchased often. I negotiate, buy low, and store it after its cleaned, covered & stored in plastic bins & use our home and lots of shelving to store the vast array of items. We do it this way so we can rent at a reasonable price.
